Dr. Brian Cavaliere began his veterinary career by attending Suffolk County Community College’s Veterinary Technology program in 2001. He then continued his education further by attending St. George's University School of Veterinary Medicine where he received multiple awards for emergency and critical care, Excellence in Small Animal Surgery, and Parasitology. He graduated in 2011, and his clinical training was completed at the University of Tennessee.
Dr. Cavaliere has a strong interest in small animal medicine, dental health, soft tissue and orthopedic surgery, and physical therapy/rehabilitation. He is also currently certified in osteoarthritis case management, Fear Free, in the Cornell Recover initiative, and is working towards getting certified in canine physical rehabilitation. He is currently a member of the American Animal Hospital Association (AAHA) and American Veterinary Medical Association (AVMA).
Outside of work, Dr. Cavaliere can be found hiking, kayaking, camping, and spending time with his wife, Shannon, their family, and their 3 dogs, Juneau, Parker, and Margo.
