Boarding Policies
Welcome to Pet Street Station Animal Hospital (PSSAH). All of our
kennels are modern, well-ventilated, temperature controlled, clean, and
well maintained for your pet's health, safety and comfort. All dogs go
outside into our outdoor runs twice a day unless otherwise instructed.
All pets are fed twice daily unless otherwise instructed. Cats are kept
in a separate kennel room from the dogs.
Office hours are:
M - F 7:00am - 5:30pm
Thursday 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
Sunday 4:00pm - 5:00pm (for boarding drop-off or pick-up only)
Hospital and boarding fees are based on the times that PSSAH staff are
involved with the care and cleaning for your pet. If your pet comes into
the hospital after 3:00pm or goes home before 3:00pm, there will be no
charge for that day. If your pet comes into the hospital or goes home
on Sunday, there will be a charge for that day.
Prices and fees subject to change, please call 607-336-7387 for
current pricing. |
- We require your pet to be up to date on Rabies and distemper vaccinations
according to NYS law and manufacturers recommendation (dogs, cats,
and ferrets) or it
will be administered upon admission to the hospital following a complete
physical exam at your expense. We also recommend that your dog's bordetella
(kennel
cough) vaccinations are up to date to prevent exposure while boarding.
- PSSAH
will provide Science Diet quality pet foods and water unless instructed
otherwise. If your pet is on a special diet or you would like him or
her to get their own food we are happy to accommodate this but there
will be an extra charge of $1.00/meal.
- If your pet is receiving medication
the staff at PSSAH can administer the medication while in the hospital.
There is an additional charge of
$1.00 per administration for this service. If you forget to bring the
medication with you, PSSAH will refill enough of the prescription to
cover your pet's hospital stay and you will be charged the normal PSSAH
pharmacy fees.
- Your pet may be checked for fleas while here. If evidence
of flea infestation is found, he/she will be treated for fleas by
PSSAH staff and you will
be charged for flea products used at our regular dispensing fees.
- If
your pet requires medical attention while hospitalized, PSSAH will
perform diagnostic and/or treatment procedures as deemed advisable
or
necessary for him/her and you will be charged for these services.
- Payment
is to be made by the time you take your pet home including services
deemed necessary for medical complications or unforeseen circumstances.
- Pet
toys are welcome but please limit it to one toy per animal provided
it doesn't fit down the drains in the indoor runs. We do our very best
to return them. There is, however, a certain risk of loss, so please
don't bring an irreplaceable item.
- Please do not bring blankets or bedding.
PSSAH provides bedding and blankets for all animals provided they
do not chew them apart. Animals
sometimes behave differently in a kennel than they do at home and will
sometimes chew up belongings they wouldn't chew up at home.
PSSAH is not responsible for lost or damaged personal pet items.
