Our fully equiped and computerized laboratory. Many of the blood, urine and stool tests can be accurately performed in 10-15 minutes.

Another view of our modern laboratory. Quick lab results are especially important for presurgical testing, critically ill patients and emergencies.

This is the surgical pack prep area where all the surgical instrumants are cleaned and conditioned and then wrapped and sterilized in these autoclaves.

Sterile surgery in progress. Patients are maintained with one of the safest anesthetic gasses on a computer controlled electronic ventilator and monitored with EKG and pulse oximetry throughout anesthesia.

Surgery prep and treatment room. This is where we induce anesthesia, do exams and treatments on the animals in the hospital not requiring sterile surgery and prepare those animals that do need surgery.

This is work being done on an injured deer fawn. We frequently volunteer our time and materials for injured wildlife.

This is a view from the treatment room into the isolation ward. This room has kennels for contagious animals undergoing treatment so they don't spread contagious disease to other animals in the hospital. This room has separate ventilation and heat control.

A view into one of three kennel rooms. This is where small dogs will stay while here boarding or here for the day unless they are critically ill or are contagious.

Another view of a kennel room. These rooms are well lit, temperature controlled year round and very well ventilated and have a lot of natural light from the large glass block panel in the end wall. Cats and exotic pets are kept in a separate kennel room from the dogs for their comfort. All of the walls in our facility are thoroughly insulated.

This is a view into a room with larger pens (3 foot by 6 foot) for the larger dogs. This room also is temperature controlled year round, has heat in the floors, is well ventillated and has a lot of natural light.

This is one of two specially heated and humidified cages with supplemented ultraviolet lighting for exotic birds or reptiles that we might have housed for boarding or treatment.

This is the second, larger exotic cage with ability to controll the heat and humidity to duplicate the tropical climate required by some exotic pets.

These are our outdoor runs. Each of the dogs staying with us has the opportunity to go outdoors twice a day into these outdoor pens unless it is not medically recommended.

Some gifts from our clients proudly displayed in the reception area. This woodworking technique is referred to as "intarsia" created by cutting and shaping many separate pieces of colored woods much like a 3-d puzzle.
